Part Time Copywriter
Union Wireless
Work with Advertising Director
and Graphic Artists to conceive, develop, write, and produce engaging
and effective advertising campaigns and sales tools including but not
limited to brochures, posters, flyers, television advertisements, radio
ads, outdoor displays, Internet copy, and newsprint ads.

Essential duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to:
-Assists in the conceptualization of ideas and themes to be used in promotions, ads, and events.
-Writes clear, concise and grammatically correct copy for print, radio, TV and web advertising campaigns, as well as brochures and miscellaneous internal documents.
-Edits all copy to ensure accurate and clear information as well as quality of content.
-Other duties as assigned.
This position is part time and not eligible for benefits.
Hiring Compensation: $20.97 - $24.72 depends on experience and is based on national market data.
Essential Qualifications:
- Exceptional writing ability with an excellent grasp of English grammar, syntax and punctuation.
- Must possess excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to juggle several projects at once.
- Must communicate effectively within the department and with other departments.
- Ability to read, write and edit in English.
- Must possess great research, editing, and copywriting skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet tight deadlines.
- Must have an in-depth knowledge of Union Wireless products and service offerings, including but not limited to; phones, accessories, plans and promotions.
- Creative and imaginative.
- Works well in a team environment and with a range of creative people.
- Be able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively.
- Self-motivated and well organized.
- Open to other's points of view and accepts feedback.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products including Word documents and Excel spreadsheets.
- Possess a high level of thoroughness and attention to detail.
- Maintain an interest in commerce, popular culture, and new advertising trends and techniques as well as competitor activities and successful campaigns being delivered by other agencies.
Education/Training/Certifications:
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor's (B.A.) from a four-year college or university preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in Advertising and/or Sales preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in Telecommunications preferred
- Valid drivers license
- Acceptable driving record
