General requirements:

Artwork submissions must be thematically based and relate to each other as a series or body of work. We also look for image series that will be thematically compatible with our product line.
Photography submissions can cover a broad spectrum of imagery but should be compatible with our product line. Photography should be in focus and of professional quality.
Illustrations should be equally produced in a professional manner. All images must be available in high resolution format.

Photography and artwork should be submitted electronically. Please adhere to the following guidelines:

Email a link to your website to submissions@amberlotus.com, OR
Email a PDF with a sampling of your work, OR
Email three images as jpgs (no larger than 200KB each).
Make sure your name and contact information are included in your email.

WRITING SUBMISSIONS

We do accept writing submissions for greeting cards. Short and clever is what we desire. Something light and catchy, not too serious please. You may email a sample of 3 to 5 sentiments or greetings with or without image concepts to submissions@amberlotus.com. We will respond to those that we find to be appropriate for our various lines.

Creative Virtual, founded in 2004, is a successful global company specialising in NLP (Natural Language Processing) creating Virtual Agents designed to offer 'conversational' interactions with customers. Customers can ask questions using natural language and the system will provide answers in a conversational style. Some of our clients include Lloyds Banking Group, HSBC, National Rail Enquires (Ask Lisa) and Warner Cable. Creative Virtual is a dynamic company, experiencing rapid growth globally.
We have created a part-time position for a Knowledge Base Builder in Malay (Bahasa Malaysia). We require an enthusiastic person with fluent Malay and English, to help us build the language capability within our system. Initially there will be a significant amount of translation work required, but this will develop into a knowledgebase builder job. The person must have a logical approach to problem solving, keen to learn and willing and able to work with a global team whilst focusing on computer-based tasks. The successful candidate will be creative, flexible, independent and also be able to work as a positive team player. The position requires the candidate to have a complete knowledge and understanding of English and Malay. The successful candidate will have space to work from their own home and have their own computer.
Training on our systems will be provided.
Someone with a linguistics or knowledge-base background would be ideal

Responsibilities and Duties
Tasks include

Translating ‘intents & phrases’ from English to Malay.

Participate in developing knowledgebase projects for machine learning and natural language processing.

Building and optimizing natural language processing.

Working directly with enterprise customers, assisting and supporting them to develop and fine-tune their knowledge-base.

Providing consultancy and some on-site work with our customers.

Knowledge of Python would be beneficial to future development work in our system.

The successful candidate must be able to work closely with our customers, offering consultancy, and support. It’s important for our team members to have the ability to manage their time, resources and projects effectively and also troubleshoot problems and hurdles as and when they arise. You will become an important member of our global team with significant opportunities to grow and develop. Minimum Requirements :

Minimum of 2 years work experience and university degree required.

Proven ability to work professionally with customers and team mates.

The candidate must be enthusiastic, have a positive attitude and willing to work hard as part of the global team.

Must have good computer skills

Qualifications and Skills
Qualifications:

Strong Malay and English (written)
University degree in one of the following: Linguistics, Knowledge Management, Library Science, Arts or Information Technology studies.
Excellent English & Malay and a passion for developing a strong and engaging solution for customers.
Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (particularly with Excel)
You should have a grasp of basic html.
Experience with knowledge-base systems and an understanding of NLP would be preferred.
Experience with Python Script and/or XML is welcome but not required.
